In below here is what we been done. In the morning we got pick up from your hotel in Hanoi and heading a long express way number 5, number 1 and number 18 B, it took us more than 2 hours bus ride included short break to get to Village. As you leave the city behind you flow through the beautiful landscape of lush rice fields, rural areas and local life outside your windows. Stop at the Phu Lang pottery Village for a peek into the art of pottery making and colourful painting.
Arrive in Doan Xa village just before noon. Right in time to join your cooking class demonstration, teaching you how to make real Vietnamese speciality and mouth-watering foods. Share your lunch with your local family.
When your stomach is full, it is time for you to wear traditional farming clothes, conical hat, sun helmet and boots… So you can jump into the mud with good conscience. Plough and rake with buffaloes in the rice field, plant rice, scope water and ride water buffalo (aka the BMW Vietnam). As you work your way through the afternoon hear the farmer explain the process of the wet rice – Understanding how to handle and look after it.
After a couple of hours, finish your farm work and go back to your homestay for a shower. It is now time to swap to two-wheel joy as you go biking along the country lanes, paddling pass villages, school kids call out greeting words in smiling and funy faces, enjoying the peaceful lifestyle of the local people and take in all the impressions that flow by you. This is a great way to explore the rural Vietnamese architecture and traditional culture and you will have good time to interact with the locals. Back to homestay, get shower, relaxing by the fishing pond for drinking or fishing while waiting for dinner come.
Our second day, Have beautiful local breakfast in the early morning around 7:300 at your homestay. We went to visit a huge daily market in quite town of Dong Trieu, have coffee before shutter bus pass by to pick us up for continuing to Halong bay. Just past noon you will embark your ship, your home for the days ahead. After check-in procedure at the pier, enjoy a thirst-quenching welcome drink and meet your fellow sailors. Your lunch will be served while cruising among rough limestone islands standing tall before your and right beside you. Majestic, beautiful and rough – just as nature created it.
As you sail deeper into the Halong Bay you will set foot in the vast and spectacular cave, Sung Sot Cave. As you descent into the grotto you will have trees and foliage around you, stalacites hanging from above and flows of lights and shapes wherever you look. At the deepest point of the cave you will find the “Royal Garden” waiting for you with a small and clear pond and a captivating landscape of mountains. Birds and plants live here and occasionally you will meet monkey on the hunt for fruit.
Back in the daylight, your boat will move to the Luon Cave area for kayaking and swimming in the emerald green waters with limestone cliffs around you. If time permits, you can hike Titop island to take photos of its fine views.
Just before 18:00 you will return to your cruise ship to relax a bit before dinner is served around 19.00. As the night falls you will have the choice to entertain yourself with squid fishing, karaoke, board games, movies or star gazing on the upper deck with a cool drink in hand. Next day actually It was third day of our adventure journey
A day beyond the tourist trail lies before you – in an area of Halong Bay that probably only a few others will have explored before you. We are still amazed why nobody goes here, so please keep the secret tight!
Have breakfast at 7:00 in the early morning on the boat. Be ready at 07:30 where you will be transferred to a day tour boat. To comply with the officials a police registration is necessary after which you depart with kayaks on board to the North of Halong Bay. An area far away from the regular tourist ship trail.
Spend the morning and afternoon kayaking in the hidden bay, paddling in the quietness, exploring small caves. Between the magnificent cliffs and rough nature before enjoying your lunch and secluded beach life. A small intro to kayaking will be given to you just as you are free to spend time on the boat or relaxing on the beach.
Back on your day boat, end your day excursion by cruising the surrounding karst landscape before you head back South around 15:00. You will cruis along the western rocky shores of Cat Ba’s national park and will be back at your overnight boat around 17:00 – just in time for a sundowner, a shower and dinner.
Your evening is free at your own leisure.
Please note that we will bring kayaks, life west and towels for you. We recommend you to bring sunscreen, a hat and extra water with you. If you do not want to bring your camera, there will be a safety box at the ship where you can store it in the meantime. Please ask the staff for this.

Last day of our trip
Rise early for another chance to swim in the beautiful waters or sleep a bit longer to have breakfast at your convenience. Check out of your room at the boat around 9:30 (you still have access to your luggage on board and ability to store it).
You are almost ready to head back to shore and you will enjoy more of Halong Bay as you slowly make you way back. Pass islets shaped as a Fighting Cock, Incense Urn, Lonely Dog, Finger and Duck. Your creativity and imagination are nutured in Halong Bay.
Lunch will be served on the boat on the way back to Halong harbour around noon and Upon arrival back at the Halong Bay harbour swap from boat to vehicle and start your trip back to Hanoi.
You will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter around 16:30. Please let us know your hotel in advance if not arranged through us.
