II. A brief of 5 days 4 nights in Bai Tu Long bay and Sapa

Day 1: Hotel pick up. Arrival in Hanoi, 1 night hotel

Day 2: 7:30 AM- Depart to Spa- arrive in Sapa at about 11:00 am, do trekking

Day3: Sapa trekking, 4:30 pm come back to Hanoi, 1 night in hotel in Hanoi

Day4: Bai Tu Long bay cruise

Day 5: Bai Tu Long bay- Hanoi- Depart.  Airport drop off ( if required)

Day 1: Hanoi arrival 

Inform Swan Cruises your flight number, our driver will come to pick you up from Hanoi airport to your hotel Check in 1 night in Hanoi Legacy Hotel (your hotel can be changed upon our availabilities).

Day 2- Day 3: Hanoi - Sapa by bus with a short trek to Cat Cat village (L, D)- Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/L) - ONE OF THE BEST ITINERARY IN SAPA

On the first day:  Hanoi - Sapa by bus with a short trek to Cat Cat village (L, D)

06:30-7:00: You’re picked up from the hotel in the Old quarter of Hanoi departing to Sapa. We choose one of the best tourist bus with lying beds for you

Be noticed that you can request to hire Limousine car (private or shared Limousine)

13.00: Arrive in Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.

A tour guide will be waiting for you at No.3 Fansipan Str (or at where the bus stop) welcoming you. Then, please follow him to come to the hotel

You’ll get:

· Welcome drink and itinerary briefing

· Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures

14.30: A short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak.

Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.

Trekking distance is about 3.5 kms and it lasts for 2 hours

17.00: Come back to Sapa Town.

Have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, overnight in a hotel in Sapa Town centre.

On the second day: Sapa - Hanoi by bus with A long trek Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/L)- Sapa - Hanoi by bus

7.00 - 7.45: Have breakfast at hotel and prepare light pack for trekking

9.30: Trek from Sapa to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.

12.30: Picnic lunch at Lao Chai Village

13.30: Heading to Ta Van village - home of Dzay ethnic people.

14.30: Our bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.

Note: Trekking distance is about 12 kms and it lasts for 4.5 hours

15.00 - 15.30: Have a shower at shower room of our hotel.

15:30: The tour guide will take you to the bus stop

16:00: Get on a bus to back to Hanoi. Goodbye Sapa

10:30: Arrive in Hanoi, end the tour 2 days 1 night in Sapa by bus

Stay 1 night in hotel in Hanoi 

Important notes:
• Older people should not do the long trek (9 km) as it is challenging and dangerous in case of rain
• Handicapped people and children under 6 should not do the trek
• Bring warm clothes, a scarf and a hat or cap as the weather in Sapa is unpredictable. It is normally cold from September-March
• Due to the altitude in Sapa, it is sometimes foggy from December-March
• Please bring trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunblock and insect repellent
• Bring cash with you in Vietnamese Dong, as banking systems in Sapa sometimes do not function. US Dollars, Euros and Australian Dollars are accepted in Sapa

• Please respect the local culture. Do not take pictures of children without the permission of their parents or touch the children’s heads

• If you do not want to attend the long Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van trek on day 2, your tour leader will help you to visit another location. You are responsible for all ticket and transportation costs

• The driver from Hanoi to Sapa and speaks very little English

Day 4- Day 5: Hanoi- Halong

On the fifth day if you have any flight, we will arrange airport service for you ( from Halong to Hanoi airport or Cat Bi airport in Hai Phong province)
